Fishing is CATCH and RELEASE ONLY. A rental of a campsite or glamper is required to fish. We are NOT a pay lake.
Yes! We have trails that are mowed throughout the east and north sides of the campground. Guests are free to explore the trails (might be wet during certain seasons so muck boots or old shoes may be useful). The campground is also located just minutes from Mounds State Park which has a vast hiking/trail area.
Yes, we offer free WiFi throughout the campground.

Dogs must be leashed if not at their immediate campsite. Please bag and dispose properly of all pet waste.

Yes. Quiet hours are 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. Please keep music to a low level at all times to respect fellow campers.
Yes. Guests pay a Venmo donation to Cole (@Cole-Keesling) for use of our firewood. It is located in the common area by the outdoor shower and porta potty.
We have a porta potty, an outdoor shower (not heated, but has a holding tank that "warms up" according to the temperature outdoors) and a sink for hand washing. The outdoor shower is a one-person use configuration and locks from the inside for safety.
PLEASE NOTE: The shower/sink water is NOT potable.
The Pilot gas station one mile from the campground does offer hot showers.
Exit 234 offers traditional fast food options such as Starbucks, Wawa, Wendy's, McDonald's, Subway, Wendy's, Culvers, Pizza King, Bird's Smokehouse and more. Exit 226, one exit south of Cattail Springs, offers a robust variety of restaurants, including McAlister's, Chick-fil-A, Montana Mike's, Texas Roadhouse, Chipotle, Olive Garden, Cracker Barrel and more.
Harvest Market is a small grocer located minutes from Cattail Springs (205 Federal Drive, Chesterfield, IN 46017). Dollar General is also closeby (444 E Main St, Chesterfield, IN 46017).
Exit 226, one exit south of the campground, offers Meijer, WalMart, pet food stores and more.
The level of interstate travel noise that can be heard varies since the campground is within a mile of I-69. Our guests have not expressed disruption of camping enjoyment if/when the travel noise is heard. We have noticed time of day, barometric pressure and wind affects the level of noise.

NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY; you enter the water at your own risk. Children are required to wear life vests when in the water/canoeing/kayaking.

Be respectful of fellow campers. Please do not walk through, fish or hang out in a campsite that is not yours.
Please bag all trash/pet waste and place it in the trash bin in the common area by the outdoor shower when you leave.
