AREA ATTRACTIONS

If you're looking for things to do off the campground, we have local attractions for you to consider.  From a state park, farmers markets, live music and a casino to horse racing, auto racing, concerts, splash pad and ice cream, you have a lot of options nearby to enjoy while staying at Cattail Springs.

We've provided overviews and web links to make it easy!

MOUNDS STATE PARK

Features ten unique earthworks built by prehistoric Indians (Adena-Hopewell people). The Great Mound is believed to have been constructed around 160 B.C. Archaeological surveys indicate the mounds were used as gathering places for religious ceremonies, from where astronomical alignments could be viewed.
